Cute As A Bug

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot! This week the challenge is "Cute As A Bug". Create a project using a cute bug.

I made this fun little card and treat box set. I used a file from My Scrap Chick called Garden Bug Boxes and Cards for that adorable bug/bug box. I pop dotted the spots and noses on both the box and card. I used My Craft Spot's Tiny Doilies Dies to create the tag for the box and stamped it with a sentiment from Tiny Tags 2 stamp set. The sentiment on the card is from Butterfly Kisses stamp set and I added some Purple Stripe ribbon to the bottom.

I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out what the rest of the DT has created! Have a great day!

Puzzle Birthday Card

Hello everyone and happy Saturday! It's going to be a beautiful weekend here, so I am happy.
I made this card for Peachy Keen's release party and am now just getting around to posting it! LOL!

These new puzzle stamp are SO FUN! You can leave them whole, or cut them apart for unique looking cards. I used PK's 3 inch puzzle stamp and 4 inch puzzle stamp on this card.

I used Peachy Keen's Recess Jump Rope Girl for my main image and sentiment. I stamped the girl image first and then the puzzle stamp over her. I colored it with copic markers, adding some grass to the bottom. I mounted the stamped and colored image to a white mat that was cut long enough to add the sentiment. This gives the feel of a polaroid, I think.
I then stamped and colored 3 puzzle pieces from the 4 inch stamp and added them with pop dots to the bottom.

They've got a fun sale going on this weekend if you're interessted in getting some of these new stamps! Here are the details and if you click on the image, it will take you shopping. Have a great day!

Thank You For Your Kindness

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a card to share. I used My Craft Spot's Thank You stamp set on this card. This is such a versatile set. All the sentiments are separated so you can choose which ones to use together or separate.

I cut the girl from a My Scrap Chick file called Tiddly Inks Bundle. This girls name is "Awww Thanks". I stamped her face with a NEW Peachy Keen In The Garden Face Assortment face stamp and colored some grass at the bottom of the mat with Copic markers.
I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Thank You stamp set in 2 different colors. This is such a great way to add some pop to a sentiment.
To finish, I added some colored gem stickers and ribbon with bow.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!

This Day I Will Marry My Friend

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at My Craft Spot. This week the challenge is "Wedding" Create a project or card with a wedding theme.
I made this wedding card for my project. This card turned out so pretty!
I cut the wedding couple and fancy frame from Potpourri Basket. I added some Viva Decor Pearl accents to the frame and the brides wedding dress.
The flower was cut from Mothers Day Bouquet and I added a gem sticker to the center. Isn't that sticker gorgeous in the center of that flower?
To finish, I stamped the sentiment using My Craft Spot's Happily Ever After stamp set.
I hope you will all play along and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects!
Have a great day!

Frog Birthday Basket

LOOK! She even has a backside...LOL!

Hello everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Peachy Keen! This week the challenge is "3D Objects: Birthday" Create a 3D project of your choice with a Birthday Theme.

This little Birthday basket couldn't have turned out any cuter! I just LOVE it!
I used a file from My Scrap Chick called Critter Books to create the frog. This file is actually for a book, but I thought it would make such a fun basket. AND HOW CUTE is the back....lol!

To create the basket, I welded the suitcase from 3 Birds On Parade with a rectangle in the center for the outer wrap. The inside is a simple 1 inch tall box. I secured it closed by punching holes and using some Watermelon Taffy Trendy Twine.
I stamped the eyes of the frog with Peachy Keen's Erkle And Merkle face stamps and the mouth with PK's Sweet and Silly Faces.
The "Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped using PK's Happy Birthday-Big stamp and the sentiment tag with PK's June 2012 SOTM set.

I hope you will all play along in the challenge and please don't forget to check out the rest of the DT's projects! Have a great weekend!

Peachy Keen Release Party Challenge Cards

Hello everyone! Did you get to the Peachy Keen Release Party tonight? What fabulous inspiration from all of the DT and HOW CUTE are these new stamps???
I have a couple of cards to share with you that I made for the Release Party challenges. Even if you didn't make it to the party, you can still play along for a chance at a Peachy Keen Gift Certificate.

My first card is for the release party challenge that I am hosting. You can created any project, but include a sun on it.
I created the card base using Birthday Bash and I welded a cloud from Create A Critter to the bottom before I cut it out. The sun is from Everyday Paper Dolls and I stamped it with that ADORABLE face using the new PK June SOTM kit. The sand castle is also from the SOTM kit and I added it to the cloud with a banner. The sentiment is also from the June SOTM kit.

For the second challenge, you're to create a 1-2-3 card. 1 stamped image, 2 pattern paper, and 3 embellishments hosted my my DT sister Amy.
I stamped the Hula girl from the new Rock A Hula add on set and colored her with Copic markers. The flower is cut from Mother Day Bouquet and I added some stickles to the edges of the flower. I also added some to the top banner and to the flowers on the hula girl. I added some gems to the center of the flower and also to the flower in her hair. To finished I stamped the sentiment from the Rock A Hula stamp set.

I hope you all will play along in the challenges which can be found at The Peachy Keen Connection.
You can also buy all these stamps NOW at Peachy Keen!
Thanks for stopping in and have a great day!

Just For Ewe

I used the Tiny Doilies Dies to create the sentiment button.

Hello everyone! It's my day to post at My Craft Spot and I have a card to share. I used My Craft Spot's Cute Critters stamp set and the Tiny Doilies Dies on this card.

This was such a fun card to make! I was inspired by a card that I saw on Pinterest that had this layout with a cloud border at the top.
I cut the lamb from a Lettering Delights file called In Like A Lion and mounted him to a circle with mat. I used a white gel pen for the stitching on the inside and used an awl to poke holes in the outer one.
I created the cloud border using my Gypsy and the cloud from Create A Critter. I sized them big to small and staggered them. I also used an awl to poke the holes in the clouds.
To finish I added the Tiny Doilies Die and stamped the inside sentiment with the Cute Critters stamp set.

I hope you all liked my card and thanks for visiting! Have a great day!
